Sorbets are a refreshing treat for when the weather gets warmer. This recipe, from Living With Greenstar by Elysa Markowitz, combines pineapple, mango, and banana for a mix of tropical flavors. The sorbet is sweet and tart, but by adding more banana, it can get creamier and sweeter. You can top it off with more fruit and serve it as a healthy alternative to ice cream.
- 2 cups frozen pineapple
- 2 cups frozen mango
- 2 cups frozen banana
1. Make sure to install the blank screen and breadstick knob in place of the juicing screen and outlet adjusting knob, respectively
2. Feed the frozen fruit into the Greenstar, alternating between the pineapple, mango, and banana
3. Transfer into a bowl. Serve and enjoy
