So I made my first smoothie with my new dynablend from angeli-30daychallenge!
1/2 cup of pineapple
1 1/2 bananas
2 cups spinach
Approx 2 cups coconut water
This was actually really good for my first homemade recipe!

This is a smoothie that I can drink with little to no guilt. I’m not big on sweets, but knowing that this was all natural with no added sugars allowed me to enjoy it. This was a great combination of fruits, but it was a little bit on the sour side. Does anyone know how I could combat that? Anyways, I would rate this a 3.9/5.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT (PUN INTENDED)
I had a chance today to reflect on my food choices. The meals that I choose daily throughout this challenge is healthy, and full of protein (please refer to body charts for your specific protein needs, but I need roughly 50 grams daily for my body to function normally), and healthy fat.
At the beginning of this challenge, I daydreamed of pizza, In-n-out, burritos, pasta, and any restaurant that offered an all-you-can-eat option. Before I began this challenge, I went on a different kind of diet. I ate as much fast food as I could. I generally consume about 6-8 fast food meals a week, but prior to this challenge, I was consuming 14 fast food meals a week. I ate with a certain disregard; one could almost mistaken me for someone about to enter prison (you get the idea).
Now, I almost feel physically sick at the thought of such greasy meals. It’s almost repulsive. This was the mindset that I was after. Before, I was addicted to fast food, a slave. Now, I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. At the end of the tunnel, is a nirvana, a nirvana about the choices I was making. With these newfound ideas, I can finally start making other changes, like home cooked meals, smoothies, etc.
